Of course the National Pest , er Post and other CanWest media are biased towards Israel. Ironically, however, because their bias is laden with anti-Arab/Muslim hate-filled rhetoric and utterly misreprestative of the documented historical record, it has in fact served the Palestinian cause and contributed greatly to the villification of Israel(now a world-wide phenomenon.) Contrary to what the Aspers apparently believe, most Canadians are able to tell when a media outlet is pushing an agenda. By now it should be obvious to any reasonably intelligent person with a basic awareness of events in the Middle East and respect for international humanitarian law that Palestinians are the occupied, Israel is the occupier; Palestinians are the oppressed, Israel is the oppressor; Palestinians are the victims, Israel is the victimizer; Palestinians are the dispossessed, Israel is the ethnic cleanser. Thankfully zionism, "the greatest fraud ever perpetrated against Jews" is in its death throes. History will record the unspeakable horrors being perpetrated against the defenceless Palestinians in the occupied Gaza Strip, the West Bank and East Jerusalem by Sharon and his fellow "armed to the teeth" thugs as another unsuccessful attempt by Israel to hold back the tide of history. Time and demographics are with the Palestinians.
